Turn L.O.L Doll Packaging Into Christmas Ornaments
L.O.L Surprise Dolls, those small, extremely fashionable, almost too small to be cute; dolls. Their shoes will make you have to vacuum with your reading glasses on. lol
They are very adorable with their small size and very detailed accessories. After all, they should be detailed, if they are that small and the price tag is the size it is!
Whether the miniture dolls and their details cost that much, or their packaging I haven’t figured it out yet. Either way, we can’t ignore that they come with some major baggage!

Repurpose, Reuse, Recycle
As hardworking adults it is hard to see such little toys come out of so much packaging and price tag!
Well, we may not be able to do much about the toys inside and the pricetag, but we can still help to save mother earth! By finding ways to reuse these capsules.
I’ve been racking my brain trying to come up with repurpose and/or upcycle projects for the L.O.L Balls and Capsules.
If you are not familiar with L.O.L Doll’s. They are packaged in a super strong plastic ball. If not a ball, in capsule, cylinder or some other enclosing shape.

They Containers are very durable and they snap together well, once you line up the notches. They are great storage for the dolls themselves and their accessories.
However, once you have collected, let’s say three L.O.L Surprise capsules. Then the containers become a problem because everything doesn’t fit in one and you want to have all the accessories together to pick the perfect outfit! 🙂
Then you’ve got really strong, girly color, oddly shaped containers. Floating around your house like last year’s Easter eggs.
The Simple Solution
I’ve been keeping my eye out for a spark of creativity, for repurposing the L.O.L containers. It turns out I didn’t have to think so hard. The plastic spheres with a handle are perfect just the way they are (almost)!!

As Christmas Ornaments!
Pretty much all you have to do, to turn these precious toys into ornaments, Is spray them with a layer of spray paint. Then thread ribbon, wire or, string through the hole in the ball. Just being careful not to scratch the paint if you are using wire.

The cut outs
The cutouts in the sides of the Surprise balls are perfect for personalizing the ornaments. You could have them fit in with your farmhouse Christmas style and add greenery, pine needles, or pine cones coming out of them.
